In this site, I will write detailed, honest and kind reviews of romance novels that are due to be published. I will only write reviews of novels with a HEA. Happy to review straight or queer romance, but tend steer clear of vampires and other more speculative forms.

I will also write reviews of romance movies, just because I like to watch them in the rare moments I have spare time.

I am crazy about reading romance novels and watching romance movies. Like most people, my life has enjoyed its ups and downs, but 'in romance I trust' to give me a boost, not to mention an emotionally satisfying tear or two, in the best and the worst of times.  I also write romance and have two completed novels that, at some point, I hope to publish.

It might surprise you to learn that i am a guy, or maybe it won't.  I live in a smallish village called Overton in Hampshire, England, with my wife, two kids, and a needy labrador. Fun fact - my home is a five minute drive from the village of Steventon where Jane Austen was born. While the church where her father preached is still there today (picture below), the house, sadly, is not. It's a beautiful spot and I can imagine the incredible inspiration she got from that place.
